Our expert tutors
The strength of Wessex Tutors lies in the high calibre of its teachers, who are all graduates with significant A Level or GCSE teaching experience and excellent results. The approach is sympathetic but firm, and importance is placed on keeping the students motivated and optimistic. The tutors are familiar with the demands of intensive coaching, with teaching a variety of different specifications, and with teaching accelerated courses. Because the college is small, the tutors get to know the students well and take a personal interest in their welfare and progress.
About our students
The majority of our students live at home and travel to Wessex Tutors on a daily basis: some as far afield as Poole to the west and Chichester to the east.
All students are expected to attend classes punctually and to do their homework regularly. The college is free from minor regulations, but we do expect students to be courteous and considerate.
Most students come to us on recommendations of friends or their former school. We pride ourselves on the happy and friendly atmosphere of Wessex Tutors.
